  • 3 - HOW MUCH WILL I PAY FOR A MODULAR UNIT?

    Whilst it's impossible to give a single price for each module as they are custom built to your requirements, in general you should budget for £1000 per m2/£90 per square foot (excluding VAT and delivery); additional sums are needed for further flooring, cladding and plumbing / electrical specifications.

    However compared to traditional build methods you'll save 30-50% in construction time and you'll be able to  obtain a 10 year insurance backed guarantee, enabling you to amortize costs across our longer product life span.

  • 4 - ARE MO-VITA MODULAR UNITS ENERGY EFFICIENT?

    Yes. they are more energy efficient and lower maintenance than traditional build.
    We use fibreglass or Cellotex insulation, double glazing on our impact resistance windows that will withstand even areas exposed to extreme cold or high winds.
    Impressive thermal values of 0.25 - 0.35 w/m2k are 30-50% more efficient than most typical UK offices and residences.

  • 5 - HOW STRONG ARE MO-VITA MODULES?

    They are stronger and more durable as the steel frame skeleton has an estimated life span of 100 years. They will not warp in damp conditions, unlike some wooden frame structures.
    We can install various durable claddings e.g. scratch-resistant Phenolic materials which come with a manufacurer's guarantee of 25 years (more than twice that of wood or plastic based alternatives).
    In addition, you'll be able to find a 10 year UK guarantee of quality.

  • 6 - CAN I TRANSPORT MODULES WITHIN THE U.K?

    Yes. Our modules can be dismantled and shipped within 24 hours if urgently required.
    The modules have incredible structural integrity so can easily be crane loaded and transported on flat bed trucks - something impressive that usually only happens on reality TV with traditional buildings at very high costs.

  • 7 - HOW LONG WILL IT IT TAKE TO BUILD MY MODULE?

    Usually a regular module can be constructed within 4-6 weeks. Obviously, the more complex the proposed design and configuration, then the time frame will vary. However, it will always be faster than traditional bricks and mortar builds.

  • 8 - HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO INSTALL MY MODULE ON SITE?

    In most cases, with appropriate site preparation and utilities ready for connection, the modules can be in place within 24 hours.  Projects with more complex connections and landscaping can be slightly longer. But again, it's much faster and with less disruption than traditional methods.

  • 9 - CAN I EXPAND MY SITE, WITH EASE, IN FUTURE?

    This is a real strong point of Mo-Vita modular construction as it lends itself to easy future horizontal extension, and can also extend vertically with load bearings up to 7 modules high.
    Vertical stacking is far more space efficient and again, our steel modular design capabilities far exceed timber frame properties.

    Mo-Vita give a standard 1-year guarantee to repair design and construction defects. 
    There will be an option to secure an additional 10-year UK insurance backed guarantee should the customer buy this option.
